i used clicker training took about a day for her to learn sit stay and laydown on comand really useful meathod i use little pieces of hotdogs like *** sized and she loves it better than traets

@jelamatibag you could gently push his back(near the tail area) down and it will sit then give a treat but I like the way this video teaches it because when you push its back to much, it can cause some problems to the back when it gets older.

@lilmiszdolz hold the treat in your fist, puppy will still be able to smell it. While taking the treat to the floor push the puppies back downwards with one hand. Once you make him sit give it the treat. Do it a few times and he/she will eventually learn by association to sit for the treat. Remember to say the command sit when making him sit so he learns what it means.

It hurts to know that the trainer doesn’t really want to be nice to the dog, he’s just using the dogs stupidity as his advantage to teach the dog how to be the trainers slave.

I tried it on my puppy but it tends to jump for the treat and it doesnt follow it nose. is there any other way i can teach my puppy to sit?
