my dog gets the ball then comes back to me and pees on it and gives me the finger

when i trow the ball my dog goes after it and puts it in his mouth.. but when i call him he drops the toy and comes running to me.. can someone help me?

my dog is a pug and she has abselutley NO interest in the toy she just stares at it and turning around me thinking that im gunna take her for a walk….

all very well and good but how do you encourage the dog to bring it back, i cant even get my dog to do it once so i can give him a treat so he will be associate to do it again and then learn. what uve said is the same as a driving instructor teaching you to drive by hugging the wheel and getting nice air freashiner

i throw da ball… my dog stares at the toy… i say fetch!!!…. she stands up… stares… sits down…. stares.. lays down.. doesnt care… i get the ball.. turns out im da one hu fetches it.

Dont try to pull it from his mouth, cus that just makes him to know that you wanna fight him to see which one is pulling harder. its better to make him drop it by giving him a treat for bringing back the stick !

my dog will fetch and bring they toy back to me, but wont drop it. any advice? i was thinking to have a treat waiting for him, but i think if he knows i have treats he will stay and beg instead of fetch.

My stick will run up and sniff the fetch but it wont bring back the dog.

@josh753789 try a different toy that he is more interested in, then he should grab it and bring it bacck. Remember that this will take time.

my dog is cute she is a dacsound (i dont really know how to spell it) she never ever ever brings it back she just bites it like a piranha
