my dog wont go on its side, its just following the treat

I don’t think you should reward him while you cheated. Because then the dog will get used to be cheated on and he will expect you to push him before even the dog starts rolling.

On the last trick, it was his left hand that he used to push on dogs front right leg.

Sir, you have no dog training skills. You just speak English, that the only plus point you have.

May 15th, 2010 at 9:26 pm
the dog ran away afterwards… dumbass.. GSD are not the best dog to teach roll over.. they don’t like it.. they’re much longer than other dogs and have a hard time doing it.. another reason why they have hip problems..

He would learn better with no distractions, try it. The noise from the road and the other dog barking.
But, they sell books for dummies at petco. I think this is not great way to learn tricks.
