my dog is Adolf because he is GERMAN shepard, and im from Croatia. And Croatia was with Germany and Italy in WW2… that is the reason why his name is Adolf

@teddybear4422 german, they are generally healthier and well the american bloodlne are more likely to get hip displasia as they have been bred with there backs lower down and it ruins the bones

Funkycheezegirl sorry but your clueless the swiss shepherd is a totally diff. dog and breed i suggest you do a little studying on “recessive white genes” a recessive gene is hereditary and NEVER dicludes a dog with it from being part of the original breed. studythe white bears moose and deer of this world before you talk about something your way off on. sheesh

@MetaliCanuck Actually my GSD has a wonderful confirmation and does not angulated legs thank you very much. I have discussed this topic on an Agility forum and have also found that the white GSD is actually a separate breed. Ocasionally you will have a white puppy thrown into a litter of GSD which in that case I would make an acception but the ones which are bred to be white are known as; Berger Blanc Suisse and in German; Weisser Schweizer Schäferhund. Meaning; White Swiss Shepherd

@funkycheezegirl btw the IGSS recognized the white gsd back in 2006. Those are the facts. The real reason youyr asshat breeder told you that **** is because they dont even want you attemting a sniff at a white gsd as property, why because they know hey have less health problems etc. I bet your ARIK has angulated legs also? right? tell me why white gsds here locally go for $3500-$5000 a puuppy while black/tan pups go for 1000 if that? there is a reason sweetheart, dont listen to all breeders

@funkycheezegirl your facts are still wrong, the igss still recognizes them as part of the bReedn they arent recognized for show is all and thats a good fucking thing because the butthole breeders will angulate the legs, everyone i know who thinks they know everything thinks white gsds are full of health probs. thats wrong because none of the 3 white gsds ive had had one health issue, your just confusing people is all, has nothing to do with opinion.

@MetaliCanuck I do know my facts and I know for one fact that the White GSD isn’t recognised by the international German Shepherd Dog Association. Not %100 sure if that name is correct but I have read many books and internet documents and all I have read has stated that the White GSD isn’t recognised. It’s like a ridgeback without a ridge. Even though they have now approved of it, it really isnt a ridgeback. Now don’t try to correct me because I can have my opinion even if it’s right or wrong.

I have a GSD, and she’s the BEST dog! We rescued her and has been one of the best dogs I’ve ever had. (And I’ve had owned at least 5 dogs)
