I got the same problem. And also have a mixed breed min pin, 2 1/2 months old. I got her to sit, but when I try to get her to go “down”, she just sticks her neck down standing. If I do the “sit” first and take the treat down, she will stand up and stick her neck down to try and get it.

i taught my dog the word cat without any help lol if i tell him cat he runs and checks for a cat in the garden and 1nce he bit 1 but not hard lol

my min pin is killing me its like he obeys me when hes on the leash but when hes off leash outside its like im not even there i say come he still runs away. i got him when he was about 1 year old please someone help

i already trained my dog to sit, but whenever i go somewhere, she looks at me, and she stays sitting down even before i say it… Well, it looks like I need to train her how to stand now… Which is the hardest part…

my dog will sit only if I point a chair. and she will sit on that chair lol
and that is the only command she know and does not follow the rest of my commands huhuhu

“Stand” is always the hardest:D

try using smaller bits of the treats.
For example, if you’re using hot dog/beef jerky, cut them into small pieces.
This way, it’s healthier for your dog and he/she doesn’t run away from you.

Use something hen likes E.g a dog toy then lure him with that =]

When i put my hand with the treat so he can do the down position; he ignores it, and he dont even care for the treats, lol.
